Vitis vinifera -Common Grapevine, Cipro Nero (Mavro) NO3

This my third Grapevine. Grapevine collected from the same old vineyard as the others. As mentioned before grapevine age estimated to be 150-200 years old!!
The very obvious reverse tapering created due to many years hard pruning.
The tree is now on my working bench , In the following days I will try to clean the dead and live wood, curving will follow. Then I will treat the dead wood with wood hardener and lime sulfur. At the end I will try to bend the branches to a more suitable position.

Very nice Greg....vines might never be high standard bonsai but they surely look very nice and they are a hardy species...Looking forward to see their development.....
