Cyprus bonsai club - workshop March 2014

Last Saturday our bonsai club had a small workshop. The honour guest was our very good friend Dave Yarranton from the Wirral Bonsai society (UK).
All members arrived early morning with their trees. We preliminary had a good chat regarding the trees possibilities and then all worked on the trees until afternoon. It was a great day and everybody left with a big smile.

It was really a very good day for all of us and it was very nice to see the two new members of our group being very active and enjoying the whole process...Many thanks to Dave,but also to Gregs mam for all the effort she put to serving us with our teas and coffees and much more as usual....

During the day we styled a San Jose juniper..it was given to me by Stavros 2 years ago.It was a cutting from a bigger Juniper and Stavros kept it alive....
The first two fotos are of the tree last year when i did some thining up and some basic trunk wiring....
