Almond Tree
Amygdalus communis – Prunus dulcis
The almond is a native to the Mediterranean region, is a small deciduous tree, growing to between 4 and 10 meters in height. It blooms in February, just before spring arrives; the flowers are white or pale pink, like the cherries in other regions.
The one below collected last autumn. The trunk diameter at the base is 7 cm and has a nice movement. As you can see Iam quite happy with the new growth.
It will be repotted next autumn and First styling will be take place next spring after flowering if any!
Just after collection
